Kevin Dingwell
presented the Pastoral Relations Committee report. Thanks were
extended to the outgoing chair, Barb Wagner, and secretary, Arlene
Sorensen, for their many dedicated years of faithful ministry.
2. Rev. Sheila Mallory
was appointed as weekend supply to St. David’s Georgetown from July 1,
2010 to June 30, 2011.
3. Rev. Kevin Dingwell
was appointed as supply to the Vernon Bridge Pastoral Charge from June
1, 2010 to August 31, 2010.

Rev.
Kevin Dingwell, Rev. Gary Clark, and Rev. Norman MacDougall were all
appointed as supply to the Mt. Stewart-Morell-St. Peter's Bay Pastoral
Charge for the period June 1, 2010 to August 31, 2010.
5. Gail Hopkirk
presented the Education and Students Committee report. Mary
Taylor, Richard Bowley, and Barbara Cairns were all confirmed as
candidates for the order of ministry.
6. The new treasurer of
Presbytery, Betty Gamester, presented her first report. As of
June 6, 2010, revenue totals $111,291.59 and expenses total $84,585.03.
7. The meeting concluded
with a delightful service celebrating the 85th anniversary of the
United Church. The service was led by Rev. Joy Noble, with
participation by Rev. Dr. Arthur Davies and Rev. Anne.
Dalziel-Singer. A time of recognition of new and retiring
Presbytery members was included in the service.
8. The next Presbytery
meeting will be held at Camp Abegweit on September 23, 2010.
