2.
The secretary, Sheila Gallant, reminded the court that the names of all Presbytery and Conference delegates must be submitted to her no later than March 23, 2011.  She also reminded all pastoral charges to submit their Mission and Service Fund objective forms.

3.
The Finance and Property Committee presented a motion to change the travel allowance rates.  After debate, the motion was referred back to the committee.

4.    Jim Blanchard spoke on behalf of the Church Extension Board.  The Board, which was established in 1964, has carried out a particular role in assisting new churches being built and existing ones being refurbished.  Table groups discussed whether the Board should continue in its existing role, or whether changes should be made.  Results of the discussion were submitted to Jim.

5.
The Nominating Committee reported that Elaine Palmer-Harding is the chair of the Pensions Committee.

6.
Karen MacLeod-Wilkie, Faith in Action Committee, presented an information sheet showing the portion of grocery stores’ purchases from Atlantic Canadian suppliers.  Karen also introduced Noah Richardson, who spoke about the GO Project, an United Church program for youth to do community service work.  Noah told of his experience with the GO Project in Halifax in 2010.

7.    Nigel Weaver, Christian Life and Growth Committee, announced there will be three Godly Play workshops on the Island this year.  The Committee has met with the Camp Abegweit Board, and a joint task force will be formed.  The Committee is hoping to have three gatherings in the spring, one in each county, for order of ministry and lay people.

8.
Presbytery will cover the registration costs for Youth Forum and Intermediates at Conference delegates from P.E.I. Presbytery.

9.    The next meeting of Presbytery will be April 28, 2011 in St. Andrew’s United Church.
